Merle Haggard Concert Poster

This project was inspired by a Typography class exercise where we had to create a concert poster for a country music artist using the text provided. I began this project by sketching out a few different designs, and then began working with my chosen image in Photoshop to enhance color and extend the background for a suitable fit. Placing the completed photo in Illustrator, I created stars to emphasize the typographic hierarchy and added various effects to change the shape and style to match the overall feel of the piece.
